立命大でFrederic Worms先生の集中講義が開催されます！
ベルクソン研究者だけでなくて、テーマでも関心ある方はぜひ。

英語の講義で、語学サポートのＴＡと、内容的なサポートとして、先端研のポール・デュムシェル先生が参加されるとのことです。

テーマは”Between Life and Death”です。
日程は、10月26日〜30日、3限〜5限です。
場所は29日のみ創思館410→312→302に変更、他は創思館401・402です。

授業の概要は下記のとおりです。

The purpose of the course is two fold: 1/ a goal of unity, or unification of major current issues in various fields around the question of “life” or, rather, of “life and death”. Indeed, the question of life is no more a special or regional one. From cognitive science to global politics, from the brain to the planet, it extends to all the spheres of our experience, together with a fragility that characterizes the present; 2/ a goal of diversity. We will try to see how questions of life and death are variously dealt with not only in different fields (from science to art and politics) but in original works and theories.
These two elements combined will draw what we view as a “moment” in philosophy : a distinctive but also complex unity of time, in which a philosophical problem dominates the others or extends itself to them.
